The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon lives up to its name. This deep chasm has been formed over the past seventeen million years and is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It was turned into a National Park largely due to the insistence of Teddy Roosevelt who visited the Arizona region frequently.

The magnificence of the Grand Canyon can not be overstated. It's layers of ancient rock each with their own intrinsic beauty are a photographers dream. The flora and fauna that cling to the canyon walls are equally enthralling to the area's geology. On almost any given day sunrise and sunset bring new meaning to the term golden hours.
